Wander is a self custody wallet for the Arweave and AO blockchain ecosystem. Self-custody is when the user controls their private keys themselves, taking full responsibility for the security of the wallet. This means, there is no reset password option or support services if a user forgets their password or loses access to their wallet.

When creating an Wander wallet or any self custody wallet, it is extremely important to carefully complete each step during the set up and save critical information when prompted.

Create a new account instructions:

1. Download Wander Mobile: https://www.wander.app/download
2. Select “Create an account”
3. Give you account a name (optional)
4. Backup your wallet
   • IMPORTANT - You will only be shown your 12 word seed phrase once. Saving your 12 word seed phrase is the most important security and recovery step you can take in protecting your wallet. Never share it with anyone.
5. Confirm your seedphrase
6. Create a password
   • IMPORTANT - There is no reset password. Please make sure to save your password someplace secure
   • Password requirements is a 5 character minimum
7. Choose your Wander theme
8. Enable biometric authentication, notifications, and/or analytics (optional)
9. Set up complete. Go to your Dashboard or Take a tour of the app
